1. I got these plants from trader joe’s today, but they weren’t labeled with the species. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. I've used all sorts of pen and inks on my Midori journal with zero bleed through and not very noticeable ghosting. The one thing you do need to take note of, is that Midori paper, as great as it is, is very sensitive to hand oils, so you'll need to wear a drawing glove while you write. :)

  4. Oh I see! What do you mean when you say it’s sensitive to hand oils though? What happens if I don’t use a drawing glove?

  5. Sorry but we’re gonna stay and defend. But if you guys want, we’re very open to an alliance where you leave us be and we’ll help you clear out everyone else on the flag.

  6. I'm getting back into cubing and I'm not too familiar with the recent releases. From what I've read, the Tornado v3 Pioneer is considered the best cube currently? It's a little pricey at $40. I can definitely afford it, but is it really worth it?

  7. Hey guys! It's been a bit since I cubed. I stopped around September last year, right when Tornado v3 was released. What notable things have happened since then? Any cube releases worth getting? Any big cubing news? Thank you!

  8. My phone does not have much to do with people jumping off a ship into the ocean because they would rather die than live a life in chains.

  9. My point is that your phone is probably made in China, or somewhere that exploits people and underpays them. People are dying because the working conditions aren’t safe. There are parents working for the whole day and never get to see their children.

  10. The more light I add rn the more it looks ridulously cartoonish

  11. But we can’t tell you why unless you actually give us something to look at.

  12. Hi, for interchanging refills with pen body, would I only have to ensure that the size (0.7, 0.5, .0.3 etc) is the same? The length and other dimensions don't matter typically right? Also, do you recommend any specific energel ink types?

  13. Are you referring to the sarasa pen body, the alpha gel one, or muji one?

  14. I doubt that it’s non24. I think it’s more likely that you sleep less and less each night until your body just can’t take it and collapses into sleep at a more normal time. Then the days after because you’re (relatively) well rested so your body reverts back to its normal schedule. But that schedule causes you to be sleep deprived which just repeats the above.

  15. A lot better already! I’m assuming that you’re going for a super appetizing, ad type of strawberry. If so, you can improve on the following things:

  16. At least two sets of true leaves. The first 2 out of a seed are not actually leaves. If you are worried about waiting then just carefully snip with a small scissor

  17. So some of these are sprouting their first set, and after that there should be another set before I separate?

  18. The reason to wait is so you can select the strongest and remove the weakest. Your plants look very healthy, so that is probably not necessary. It wouldn’t hurt anything to remove some now. Just be careful to not damage those you want to keep. The first step is thinning. If you plan to repot them separately then you definitely should wait for more leaves.

  19. I’m not sure I completely understand what you’re saying. Did you mean that I should thin some out right now so they have enough room, and wait for them to develop two sets of true leaves before transplanting?

  20. I put it on the window sill and the plant gets direct sunlight from 8-1 (making it receive bare minimum sun exposure)

  21. Then yeah, it’s probably that that plant is in the shade (from the edge of the pot) more than the other plants.

  22. In your price range I would probably go for something like a Princeton Velvet Touch round brush size 6 or 8. Great all-rounder.

  23. Check out Silver Black Velvet Limited series. Excellent brushes ! Highly recommend.

  24. Sure, but you have to understand that it’s rooted in homophobia and that these bans marginalize gay individuals. We have a blood shortage, gay men bleed the same blood, we screen blood for issues anyway, it’s an outdated ban that doesn’t have that much supporting it. Though it may be higher risk, we still test it and it doesn’t make sense to refuse healthy blood when the infected/unhealthy blood will be screened and removed anyway.

  25. They also pool blood and test it that way. I believe they mix blood from 16 or so donors and mix them then test it to make the process more efficient. So that means if one out of the 16 are infected, the whole batch has to be disposed.

  26. Time travelers everywhere these days!

  27. I was a pretty big fan of martian by Andy Weir, and I’m wondering if there are any other realistic sci fi novels like that. The length was also quite nice. I’d prefer something under 30 pages.

  28. Try run a lead jam clear (thin metal rod) through the lead sleeve (to ensure that lead can fit thru it smoothly in case the sleeve is deformed, but don’t overdo it in case u over widen the sleeve and cause a wiggle; if the sleeve is bent u may have to bend it back with a needle or something) and the clutch (don’t do it too hard there just make u smoothen the clutch a bit to ensure that it does not break the pencil lead, and also to make the sure no graphite dust there so it can maintain a good grip on the lead)

  29. If you don’t have that tool, the wire from a twist tie works as well for 0.5 pencils.

  30. Definitely fluros, for the price of them and only using over winter it'll be your cheapest option unless you find a cheap good led for sale which will make the energy a bit more efficient. I run a 1.2m quad t8s and my plants love it. They're not to strong and they give off a softer light than leds 😊

  31. I’ve pretty much settled on that, but my question is more so how to set it up.
